If wine could tell a story, Billy Button Mysterious Malvasia would be the elusive, mysterious character in an epic novel. This bottle offers a delightful journey through unexpected twists and turns, making it a must-try for anyone seeking adventure in a glass!

Grown and made in the Alpine Valley region just out of Myrtleford, by two alternative varietal advocates and specialists in Jo Marsh and Glenn James, the bouquet gives a soft hint of florals, mixed with a whisper of citrus. It’s almost like the wine is daring you to uncover its secrets. Red apples, freesia and honeysuckle add to the heady mysterious mix.

The Malvasia grape, common in Mediterranean countries, particularly Greece, Croatia, Slovenia and Italy, has a lovely balance of sweet fruitiness and a crisp, zesty finish The acidity keeps things lively, but it’s the subtle nuances of honeydew, apricot, and a hint of minerality that really keep you on your toes. It’s one of those wines where you think you’ve figured it out, but then it surprises you with something new.

Billy Button’s take on this classic grape is playful yet refined—like a whimsical puzzle that doesn’t take itself too seriously. It’s the kind of wine you’d happily sip at a summer garden party, or even as the perfect companion to a cozy evening with a book, wondering what other mysteries await.

Pair it with fresh seafood, a goat cheese salad, or just some good conversation, and you’ve got yourself a memorable experience. Billy Button’s Mysterious Malvasia is a bottle full of delightful intrigue—definitely worth cracking open to see where it takes you!
